Chiara Gambirasio, Sesta lombare, 2020

Chiara Gambirasio was born in Bergamo in 1996 and lives and works between Milan and Bergamo.

He attended the Liceo Artistico Statale Giacomo and Pio Manzù and developed parallel to his studies an underwater life, competing nationally in competitive swimming. Taking leave of swimming, he attended the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, where he obtained a three-year degree in painting in 2019 with the thesis “Kenoscromìa. Instant and creative intrusion ”and where he now attends the two-year master’s degree in sculpture.

She was assistant to the photographer Attilio Maranzano in October 2018 and, from the same year, she is assistant to the artist Remo Salvadori, with whom she collaborated in the preparation of the personal exhibition at the Insel Hombroich museum (Neuss – Germany) and with whom she participated in the workshop “Darsi Tempo” at the Building gallery in Milan.

He participated in the painting competition “Città di Romano di Lombardia” and in the International Painting, Poetry and Multimedia Arts Award dedicated to Claude Monet in Dolceacqua (IM), he created two canvases on commission for the San Giuseppe hospital in Milan, where participates in the permanent collective exhibition “Curarsi ad arte”, participated in the Exhibition No.Place.Space in Suzzara (MN) in 2016 and in Santo Stefano di Magra (SP) in 2018, in 2017 he collaborated with the Bollate Prison for the realization of the wall paintings in the courtyards of the prisoners and in 2019 he participated in the collective of the A.Josz Botanical Museum in Milan.
