SIMONE BERTI

Simone Berti, born in Adria in 1966. Lives and works in Milan.
He used to work with Massimo De Carlo Gallery from 1998 to 2008 and the same year started to collaborate with Benedetta Spalletti – Vistamare Gallery. He exhibited his work in galleries, museums and international exhibitions including: Fare Mondi / Making Worlds, 52nd Venice International Biennial of Art in 2009, invited by Daniel Birnbaum; Italics, at MOCA Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago and Palazzo Grassi in Venice, curated by Francesco Bonami; Egofugal – 7th Istanbul Biennial directed by Yuko Hasegawa; recently at MACRO Museum in Rome he exhibited his last solo show: Simone Berti – Notes of a Generation, 2017; Examining Pictures at Whitechapel Art Gallery, London / Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago / A.
