Andrea Contin (Padua, 1971, lives and works in Milan), graduated in Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna and in Psychology at the University of Padua, supports artistic research with academic teaching and critical writing. In his works he alternates and integrates videos, installations, performances, sculptures and drawings, bypassing the rational perception to get directly to the spectator’s experience. He has exhibited in several galleries and institutions, participated in awards and residences, curated exhibitions, held conferences and seminars in museums and institutions, written for magazines and taught at high schools, academies of fine arts, universities, community for minors and prison.
Since 2019 he is the creator, curator and presenter of Corpi sul Palco (Bodies on stage).
